Noémie, soprano, grows up as the youngest of five in an art-loving family.
As a child, she has been fascinated by the power of cinema, Callas while helping daddy cook, the passion of her singing violin teacher, traveling and acting.
She obtained her Master’s degree in vocal performance (great distinction) at the Royal Conservatoire of Brussels and perfected her skills as a light- lyrical soprano with Udo Reinemann (FR) and Charlotte Margiono (NL).She receives the prestigious 'Médaille de Vermeil- Arts, Sciences, Lettres in Paris.
Appearances with orchestra include invitations by Belgian National Orchestra conducted by Hugh Wolff, Il Fondamento, .. The children's opera Detskaya (Mussorgsky) takes her to
the Opéra Bastille, Paris and Opéra de Bordeaux. She is on the stage of Opera Dresden with Cie. Irene K, De Munt/La Monnaie (Frascati Symphonic), BOZAR, De Singel,... For the XIVe Sommet de la Francophonie she sang for 80,000 people in the Stade de Martyrs, Kinshasa (Congo) and in Belgian ambassy Kampala (Uganda).
With guitarist Maarten Vandenbemden she forms a close duo with which she regularly concerts throughout Europe.
As a soprano, her passion for the performing arts brings her to special collaborations: the multidisciplinary performances with Sacred Places for the Visoes Urbanas festival in Sao Paolo (Brazil) and the DIAF-Delhi International Art Festival in New Delhi (India), the performance “This is Propaganda ” (Tino Sehgal – Venice Biennale). She sings creations by contemporary classical composers Walter Hus (Er-varen), Peter Ritzen (Spanish Songs), Martin Valcke (Stadslied Leuven), Orlando Gough (Shouting Fence, Kaaitheater) and Peter Spaepen (Woesj 4Hoog, international tour).
Pre and post Corona she is touring with two musical theater performances by BRODER: “Henry” (about Henry Purcell) and “Babushka” (with Russian vocal music).
She is the cultural ambassador (city soprano) of Leuven and has created 10 major projects (including Canta Luna and Opera Mobile).
She worked as a vocal coach at theMuntschouwburg for the young soloists of the children's and youth choir.
In addition to being a performer, Noémie is also a maker. She creates 'Noémie & Qotob' in collaboration with Qotob Trio, a dialogue between minimal jazz, classical music and sounds from the Middle East. In '22 she created 'Before The Lake', a magical open-air concert at dusk with soprano, serpent, soundscape and guitar.
In February '23, the poetry concert 'La Serenata' premiered: an ‘Ode to Love' with Pieter Embrechts, guitarist Maarten Vandenbemden and video artists Anne Marcq.
With bassist Mirko Banovic (Arno, Arsenal) she explores the relationship between the passion of baroque opera and the power of percussive electro- rock.
Noémie is also a passionate actress, a love that also brings her to the silver
screen: Annette, by French director Léos Carax and the British feature film
“A Quiet Passion” by Terence Davies, in which she plays the role of Mabel Loomis Todd.
She contributed to the soundtrack for the Belgian film “Behind the Clouds”. She acted in numerous Belgian series (Zuidflank, Code 37, 13 commandments,...). The short film 'Let it all go wrong' in which she plays the leading role will be released in autumn '23. In '24 she will play one of the leading roles in 'Eternal', a TV series for RTBF.

Noémie is ook een gepassioneerd actrice, een liefde die haar ook op het witte doek brengt: Annette, de nieuwe film van de Franse regisseur Léos Carax en de Britse langspeelfilm “A Quiet Passion” van Terence Davies, waarin ze de rol vertolkt van Mabel Loomis Todd.
Voor de Belgische film “Achter de Wolken” werkt ze mee aan de soundtrack. Ze acteerde in tal van Belgische series (Zuidflank, Code 37, 13 geboden,...). De kortfilm ‘Let it all go wrong’ waarin ze de hoofdrol vertolkt zal in najaar ‘23 uitkomen. In ‘24 zal ze 1 van de hoofdrollen vertolken in ‘Astra’ een tv-serie voor RTBF.
